We are Santripe (“Santripe” or “the Company”). For the purpose of the Data Protection Legislation, Santripe is the data controller of Your (as defined below) Personal Information (herein defined).

The privacy of our Users is important to us and we are committed to safeguarding it responsibly and in accordance with the legal requirements of the countries in which we operate. What information do we record?

Santripe obtains information about you via our mobile app and website or direct contact. For example, when you register on the app and provide identification data like bio-metric data, name, address, telephone number, mobile number, email address and place of residence.

We also record details about your Santripe accounts and transactions with us and usage of your device for Santripe services as well as additional information provided via:
communications with you and from social networks or online accounts and internet cookie information.

Santripe may also obtain information about you from other sources such as credit checking bureaus and identity verification services or government authorities.

Protection of personal data
Santripe will take appropriate measures to protect the personal data obtained and transactional data collected by it with full observance of all applicable laws.

What do we do with your information?
We routinely use your personal information to help us manage and improve our services and your account usage including, for example, to:

enable/route transactions with third-parties such as financial institutions, correspondents, payment intermediaries, card schemes, or other commercial partners (‘Partners’);
• provide you with customer support and troubleshoot problems;
• notify you about service updates and faults;
• request feedback or participation in online surveys;
• verify your identity;
• monitor and improve our applications, products and websites;
• investigate suspicious transactions (flagged internally or by one of our Partners);

Santripe may use analytics partners such as Google Analytics to track volume of usage on internet sites and to help improve the relevance and features of our services to you.

Your personal information may, from time to time, be used to meet our regulatory obligations and those of our Partners (as mandated under applicable jurisdictions). The collection, use and processing of such information may occur for purposes of, including, but not limited to, AML/KYC requirements at the time of onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and for reporting to authorities.

Santripe will not sell, rent, trade or otherwise transfer any personal and/or traffic data or communications content without your explicit permission, unless Santripe is obliged to do so under applicable laws or by order of government authorities

Your user profile is the information provided by you at registration which is on your personal details page in your account. You can access and update your user profile from the Santripe mobile App or web portal.

Santripe App and websites may contain links that will let you leave Santripe ‘s website and access another website. Such linked websites are not under the control of Santripe and these websites have different privacy policies. The Santripe Privacy Policy applies solely to personal information that is acquired on the websites or through your use of the Santripe software, Santripe products and/or your relationship with Santripe. So, Santripe urges you to be careful when you enter any personal information online.

If you use any third-party applications together with the Santripe software (“Other Applications”), the provider of such Other Applications may obtain access to certain personal information about you. Santripe does not and cannot control how the provider of Applications may use any personal information in connection with such Other Applications. Please ensure that you review any privacy policies and all terms applicable to the use of such Other Application before installation. Santripe accepts no responsibility or liability for these other websites.

By using Santripe’s websites and/or software you are giving your consent to the use of cookies. You can choose to reject cookies at any time or by ceasing to use Santripe’s websites and/or software or by using the applicable opt-out functions. You should be aware that certain features are only available through the use of cookies and if you choose not to accept cookies, such features may not be available to you.

Santripe may from time to time ask you to voluntarily provide information on your experiences which will be used to measure and improve the quality of the Santripe software, products and websites. At the time, we will make it clear that you are not obliged to participate in such surveys.
Santripe may also contact you about faults and service issues or any misuse or claimed violation of the of any third-party rights.

Santripe may also keep you up to date with news about the Santripe products that you have purchased and/or to inform you about other Santripe products or other Santripe related information. You can opt-out of the receipt of alerts and/or promotional emails.

You have the right to access and, where relevant, to amend your personal information. We will respond to requests to view, correct, complete or remove your personal information within a reasonable period of time and upon verification of your identity.

Santripe will retain your information for as long as is necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations and relevant orders from Government authorities.

If requested, Santripe will do its best to delete obsolete personal information unless it is required to be retained by law or for lawful business purposes.

Santripe may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our software and/or products and customer feedback as well as any legal requirements. The “last revised” version is the one accessible on our mobile app and website.
